Neon
is used in the lighting industry to manufacture the commonly
known "Neon Lights". Neon has a natural red glow,
but when mixed with other gases produces a wide range of
glows. Neon has a very low boiling point and can be used
as a very low temperature refrigerant . Neon is in the family
or Rare Gases (also
called Noble or Inert Gases) which includes Krypton,
Xenon, Argon
and Helium and is present in
the air in low concentrations.
